A 14-year Major League veteran, Steve is best remembered for his stellar defense and timely hitting for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1972 through 1985. He was a mainstay behind the plate in 1974, 1977, 1978 and 1981 when the Dodger’s represented the National League in the World Series. He shared the 1981 World Series Most Valuable Player Award with teammates Ron Cey and Pedro Guerrero. Yeager was best known for his sensational throwing arm (in which Lou Brock called him “the best throwing catcher in the game”) and clutch hitting with a .321 career average when hitting with the bases loaded. He also hit .298 lifetime in 21 World Series games.
Now assuming the duties as Field Manager for the Long Beach Armada of the independent professional Golden Baseball League, Steve has spent many of his post-career years as a Manager and coach in the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system and Major League catching instructor.

Recently retired after 23 years of distinguished service, Lieutenant Commander Terrence Allvord, USN, was the chief architect in the development of the U.S. Military Baseball All-Stars in 1990. Known as the “founder of modern military baseball” Terry established 38 military teams around the globe, creating the fastest, largest, most successful, and only joint armed forces baseball program in the world. From this, the famed “Red, White and Blue Tour of America became a reality. Recognized as the most popular independent summer baseball exhibition of its kind, attracting over 25 million spectators annually, the All-Stars frequent the ball parks of numerous Summer Collegiate, Affiliated Minor League and Independent Professional Baseball organizations throughout the season, not to mention hundreds of other appearances during their travels. The U.S. Military All-Stars are the most sought after baseball entertainment entity on record.
As a combat veteran, Allvord served seven tours in the Middle East with over 5,000 flight hours; 23 years as a crew chief, rescue swimmer, naval aviator, Defense/Acquisition Program Manager for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staffs Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration; earned numerous military commendations, while his forces were recognized as the highest decorated forward deployed unit in the history of the command.

Loren Hibbs is entering his 15th season as the head coach at Charlotte, and the fifth alongside assistant coaches Bo Durkac and Brandon Hall.
Last season, the Niners' first in the Atlantic 10, Hibbs led the squad to a 18-9 league record and an appearance in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament.
In his 14 seasons at Charlotte, Hibbs has helped lead the 49ers to two regular-season conference titles, one conference tournament title and two NCAA Tournament appearances. |

Tom has taken Chatsworth High School baseball program to the L.A. City Sectional Championship game nine times in 17 years. Chatsworth is the only High School team to ever win back-to-back National Championships 2003 and 2004. He has a career record of 434-87-3, with 2 National Championships, 5 LA City Championships, and 14 West Valley League titles under his helm. He has earned numerous honors, including National High School Coach of the year in 2003 and 2004.

On July 16 Johnson will become the sixth head coach in Sam Houston State 's modern history. Johnson served as head baseball coach at Texas A&M from 1986 to 2005. He won Southwest Conference championships in 1986, 1989, and 1993 and Big 12 league titles in 1998 and 1999. His teams competed in the NCAA playoffs 13 times, making 13 NCAA regional appearances and reaching the College World Series in 1993 and 1999.
During his 19 years as head coach at Texas A&M, 108 players were selected in the Major League baseball draft. Johnson was named as ABCA Regional Coach of the Year in 1986, 1993, 1998, and 1999. He was Big 12 “Coach of the Year” in 1998 and 1999 and Southwest Conference “Coach of the Year” in 1986, 1989, and 1993. He served as head coach for Team USA in the summer of 1999. His teams at Texas A&M were ranked number one in the nation for 11 weeks in 1989, six weeks in 1993, and three times in 1999.

Recognized as one of the most successful head college baseball coaches in NCAA history, Mike begins his new tenure at UC Irvine in 2008 following a stellar coaching career at USC. He led the Trojans to 14 NCAA Regional Tournaments in his 18 years at the school, including USC’s record setting 12th National Championship in 1998. In 2001, Gillespie guided Troy to the College World Series for the fourth time in seven years, including back-to-back appearances for the first time since 1973-74. In 1998, Mike was named National Coach of The Year by both Collegiate Baseball and the American Baseball Coaches Assn.
In the new colors of the UC Irvine Anteaters, his team was off to a terrific start, winning 16 of its first 17 games. Mike hopes to return UCI to the College World Series for the second year in a row.
